For the first time in quite a while I completed a new custom doll. I love making and customizing dolls, but day to day business and household tasks get in the way and I don't get to do as many of them as I would like. They also, especially if you're talking about Blythe or Pullip dolls, cost a hefty amount just as blank dolls. This particular doll, Pullip Dal Kagamine Rin from the Vocaloid anime, cost more than $50 when I purchased her a few years ago, despite her terrible condition. Rin's face was faded, her clothes were in tatters, and she even had insects in her hair! I gave her a complete makeover, from cleaning to re-painting. I made a custom dress for her. Now she's all ready to come home with you! This is a rare doll in original condition and with my restoration she's completely unique! Get the best price on my Shop page (international buyers please message me for a shipping quote) or find her in any of my other shops (link from the Home page).

Join me Live On Whatnot!
(I have some very exciting news! I have been accepted as a Live Seller on Whatnot. Whatnot is a new marketplace that's kind of a combination of YouTube and QVC. You join livestreams with sellers to bid or buy their items. My first Livestream will be this coming Monday, June 6th at 12:38 PM EST. Join me for lunch (or breakfast if you're on the west coast) and an offering of dolls and doll accessories from the 1960s and 70s. I'm calling this show "Mod Monday" and one lucky winner will receive a Miss Merry mini doll completely free as a door prize (doll shown at the end of the video and in the foreground of the photo). To win the Giveaway you must 1) Follow me, ateliermandaline, on Whatnot and 2) Attend the live show. Here's the link:
Sign up for Whatnot with my referral link and when you make your first purchase you will get $10!
https://www.whatnot.com/invite/ateliermandaline. You can preview my first show and you will see, on average, my offerings are half what they cost on other platforms! This is due to the lower fees on Whatnot, as well as me being a new seller and the necessity to grow my following. If you have been thinking of purchasing any of my vintage Barbie, Crissy, or Dawn dolls or clothes, look on Whatnot first for the best price! I can't wait to see and talk to you live on Monday!
Don't be at all worried about purchasing on Whatnot: the application process for sellers is intense. All sellers have to submit a video application and photo ID and undergo a check of previous experience on other sales platforms and a criminal background check. Once accepted sellers attained a live class to check against their government ID and have to pass a test before being activated. It's a comprehensive job interview to ensure every seller is legitimate.
