Sweet Sue Doll Repair Instructions from Vintage Midcentury Trade School
Here is an e-packet of instructions showing how to repair Sweet Sue dolls. Choose your doll packet by name or a packet of stringing diagrams for different types of dolls.
These lessons are from a vintage (1960s) doll repair correspondence course, no longer under copyright. I taught myself to repair dolls when I became a doll doctor ~ I sure wish I had this course when I started!
These are specific instructions showing the interior construction of each doll and offering repair tips for common issues. These do NOT include general doll repair subjects such as eye repair. To learn general doll repair please purchase my Doll University book. Some lessons, such as Cissy and Elise, Tiny Tears and Betsy Wetsy, and Saucy Walker and Posie, are combined because they are so similar. I will include a sheet of my own doll repair tips as well as a packet of general doll repair information with each order.
You are getting digital instructions ONLY, no doll or supplies. These are formatted as full page instructions so you may print them out at home. Start a new career as a doll doctor or just repair yours!
